Independent Advocacy — Not a Government Agency

Australian Pension Community
Support Network

APCSN is an independent peer support network dedicated to helping Australian seniors understand, access, and appeal their Age Pension entitlements.

Non-profit organisation · ABN registration in progress · Est. 2024 · auspension.org

Our Mission

The Australian Age Pension system is failing the people it was designed to protect. Forensic analysis of ANAO audit data reveals $1.33 billion in underpayments to seniors legally entitled to more, processing delays that regularly exceed 80 days, and a digital-first mandate that locks out the 66% of over-75s who cannot navigate myGov.

The Australian Pension Community Support Network exists to close that gap. We provide free tools, peer support, and independent advocacy resources to every Australian senior who has been denied, delayed, or underpaid — regardless of their technical ability, financial literacy, or geographic location.

"The system is not broken by accident. It is complex by design. Our job is to make that complexity navigable for the people it was meant to serve."
— Scott Hill, Founder & CEO, APCSN

We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with Services Australia or Centrelink. We are a community of Australians who believe that a pension is not a privilege — it is an earned right — and that no senior should have to fight alone to claim it.

Our Values

Justice Through Access

Every Australian senior who has earned the right to a pension deserves a fair, transparent, and timely process. We exist to close the gap between what the law entitles seniors to and what the system actually delivers.

Peer-Led Support

We believe the most powerful form of help comes from people who have lived the same experience. Our community connects seniors with others who have navigated denials, delays, and underpayments — and come out the other side.

Dignity Above All

Applying for the Age Pension should not be humiliating. We treat every person who comes to this platform with the dignity and respect they deserve, regardless of their circumstances.

Practical Action

We do not just raise awareness — we provide tools. From appeal letter generators to MP contact kits, every resource on this platform is designed to produce a concrete outcome for the person using it.

Radical Transparency

We are not affiliated with Services Australia, Centrelink, or any government agency. We are an independent peer support network. We say so clearly on every page because trust must be earned, not assumed.

Evidence-Based Advocacy

Our work is grounded in publicly available data from the ANAO, the Administrative Review Tribunal, and Services Australia. We cite our sources because the facts are damning enough without embellishment.
